Terms of Use

These terms set out the rules for using www.ilkeryazici.com, the website of the practice of Prof. Dr. İlker Yazıcı. By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

Nature of the information on this website

The texts, images and videos on this website give general information about plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. They are not medical advice and do not replace an examination by a doctor. Whether a treatment is right for you, which technique to use and which risks apply to you can only be decided after an examination and any necessary tests.

The medical information reflects generally accepted knowledge at the time it was written, and medical knowledge changes over time. Do not start a treatment, stop a medicine or change your doctor's advice on the basis of this website.

Doctor–patient relationship

Reading this website or sending a message through the contact channels shown on it does not create a doctor–patient relationship. A pre-assessment based on photos sent by WhatsApp or e-mail is not a diagnosis; it is only general guidance on whether an examination is needed and how the process could be planned. The doctor–patient relationship begins with the examination.

Emergencies: this website and the messaging channels are not suitable for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call the emergency number where you are (112 in Türkiye) or go to the nearest emergency department. Patients who have had surgery receive separate written instructions on how to get in touch during recovery.

Results vary from person to person

The result of any surgical or medical procedure depends on factors such as your anatomy, tissue and skin quality, general health, healing and how closely post-operative advice is followed. Recovery times given on this website are typical ranges, not a promise. Simulation images and representative images are for planning and information; they do not show that your result will be the same. Every procedure carries risks, and the risks that apply to you are explained at your examination.

Copyright and intellectual property

The texts, photos, videos, illustrations, logo and design elements on this website belong to the practice of Prof. Dr. İlker Yazıcı or are used under licence, and are protected by the Turkish Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No. 5846 and related legislation.

External links

The website may contain links to third-party websites, such as social media accounts, map and messaging services. The content, security and privacy practices of those websites are the responsibility of the third parties concerned. When you visit them, their own terms of use and privacy policies apply.

Limitation of liability

Care is taken to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date; however, no undertaking is given that it is complete or always current, or that the website will run without interruption or errors. To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for damage arising from decisions made solely on the basis of the general information on this website without an examination.

Personal data and cookies

How your personal data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy, and the cookies used on the website in the Cookie Policy.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when necessary. The current version takes effect on the date it is published on this page. If you continue to use the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Where the law allows the parties to agree on jurisdiction, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms; in all other cases, the competent court is determined by law.

This clause does not limit the rights consumers have under mandatory rules. Consumers in Türkiye may, under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, apply to the consumer arbitration committee where they live or where the transaction took place for disputes below the statutory value limit, and to the consumer court where they live for other disputes. Consumers who live outside Türkiye, for example in a European Union country, keep the rights they have under the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country of residence, including the possibility of bringing proceedings there, to the extent those rules apply.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to info@ilkeryazici.com, or through the other channels on the Contact page.
